The base card is not an attendance platform, encrypted access credential, payment card, or employee tracker. Those are separate systems with separate requirements.

NFC Forum describes a typical range of up to 2 cm. Results vary with the phone, antenna position, case, tag, and nearby metal. The screen normally needs to be active; NFC must be available. That is why a QR fallback is worth adding.

Does the person I meet need an NFC Nexus app?
No. A standard card opens a normal HTTPS link in the recipient’s phone browser. The phone must support NFC and have it available; an optional printed QR code can provide a camera-based fallback.
What is stored on the card?
The standard setup stores a web link—technically an NDEF URL record. Your contact details and links live on the destination page, not as a complete database on the physical card.
Can the destination change later?
Yes when the card is configured with a managed redirect or hosted profile. Direct-to-URL cards may need to be re-encoded if the URL changes, so the setup is confirmed before production.
Does the card track someone’s location?
No. A passive NFC business card does not continuously track a person or phone. Any web analytics attached to a destination page are a separate feature and must be disclosed and scoped.
Is this a payment or access-control card?
No. The base product is a web-link business card. Payments, secure access, attendance, and system integrations are different technical projects and are never implied by the ₱990 starting price.
